Delete account
On this page you will find information about deleting your account and related data in the DiaLog app from ProNex Consulting s. r. o.
You can delete your account directly in the app. This page is a public contact and fallback for users who do not have access to the app or cannot sign in.
Withdrawing health diary consent is not account deletion
Withdrawing health diary consent and deleting your account are two different things.
Consent is withdrawn in the app as a separate action. The account remains. The active health diary is deleted. This page is for deleting an account, not for withdrawing health diary consent.
Account deletion remains available independently of consent withdrawal. Withdrawing consent does not require account deletion, and this page is not a way to withdraw consent.
How to delete your account
In the app
Open Settings → Account deletion → Delete account and confirm deletion. After confirmation the account and related data are deleted from the app automatically, unless a legal, security or technical duty prevents us from doing so.
By email
Send the request from the email address you use in DiaLog to info@dia-log.sk. If you do not have access to the registered email, include in the request the details needed to verify your identity.
How an email request is handled
This website does not delete accounts automatically. It is information and a contact point for an email request.
After we receive an email request we verify that it is valid and then delete the account and related data. An email request is usually handled within 30 days, unless a legal duty or security need prevents us from doing so.
What data is deleted
After the account is deleted (in the app or after an email request is approved) we delete data linked to your account, in particular:
- user account and profile,
- glucose readings,
- insulin catalogue and insulin dose history,
- medication catalogue and medication intake history,
- reminders and app settings,
- estimated HbA1c history,
- app activity metadata linked to the account, if available,
- height and weight as health data in the profile.
What may be kept for a limited time
Some data may be kept for a limited time after account deletion if that is necessary:
- records required by law, security or support,
- minimal technical operations and security logs,
- historical records from internal or test access to the app, if keeping them is legally or technically necessary,
- minimal, separate records of consent being given and withdrawn, where a lawful retention period applies; these records are not an active health diary and do not contain glucose readings, insulin doses, medication records, height, weight or exports. They are kept for at most 3 years under the published retention policy.
